10 Steps of Korean Skin Care Routine

1️⃣ step - Balm or oil cleanser

Oil-cleanser or balm are meant to be applied to dry skin first. They are formulated to help remove makeup, sunscreen, and other oil-based impurities that may be taking up residence on your face.

2️⃣ step - Water-based cleanser (foam, gel, cream)

This process is called Double Cleansing. It penetrates deep down the layers of skin thereby washing off all the dirt and sweat from your pores. Plus, it also prevents clogging of pores that result in acne and leaves your skin squeaky clean.

After double cleansing, your skin is perfectly clean and is ready to absorb the goodness of products you apply in the following steps.

3️⃣ step -Exfoliator

It helps clean pores, peel off dead skin cells to make skin brighter and smoother and more efficiently absorb other skin treatment components into the skin.

4️⃣ step - Toner

After cleansing and exfoliating, your skin will be fragile and dehydrated. Toner refreshes, hydrates and balances your skin’s pH level. It prepares your skin to absorb the nutrients of the products you apply in the forthcoming steps to full potential.

Apart from hydrating your skin, Toners also get rid of any impurities missed by cleansers.
